Having seperated from my parter approx 2 months ago, he now has a new partner and is keeping kids ou

My ex partner and I have two beautiful kids together. We had a somewhat agreeable seperation just before Xmas 2007. He was given access every weekend (friday through to sunday afternoon). However recently I found out through a wrong number text message he has gotten with one of my "supposed friends" and is now staying out up until after 9pm the nights he has the child just to benefit himself so he can see his new gf. The problem is he is taking the kids out of a structured routine (kids ages being 20 months and the other almost 4) and now the children come home to me on a sunday afternoon cranky and with bad attitudes because they're tired and confused. Why is is some people actually don't think about the affect a relationship break down has on children and getting into a new relationship just because he can doesn't seem to realise that it's hurting the kids. Would you call keeping kids out late and awake at that time neglect or abuse at all? Please help as I fear it's going to court.

he should understand that is gonna affect the children exspecially bringing another woman in the picture they love their momma and daddy and it will confuse them alot and keeping them out late thats not good either you need to set down and talk with youre ex about youre concerns about the kids and see if yall can work out something maybe he doesnt see what it is doing to the kids so point it out to him ok i wish you good luck

He has a right to spend the time with the kids as he pleases.

A 20 month old and a 4 year old will fall asleep when their tired. Their probably having fun!!!!

I'm sure you are too. Could it be you have a hang over on sundays and can't handle it?

You can't tell this guy what he can do on his own time. your not in control!!
