This song is actually about a close friend of the lead singer of three days grace.

I was listening to three days grace on the radio talking about their new album and Adam said this song is very personal to him and his favorite on the album. He was saying that one of his close friends came up to him awhile back and told him that he hated his life and felt that there was nothing to live for and that there was no point in his life so he wanted to end it. Adam wrote this song for him stating it's not too late..never too late to turn your life around and see the better things in it.

This is what Adam said about this song on Rockline: "It's a pretty personal song about somebody that basically came to me and told me that they were finished with life and didn't want to go on anymore, and they felt like they wanted to give up, and this song is basically about telling them it's not worth it. It's never too late."
